About Jamison, PA
Jamison is a village in Warwick Township, taking the name after the Jamison family. Henry Jamison was the first member in their family to settle in this land, originally calling it Decourseys Corner and Jamison Cross Roads before 1839. It started with six houses, a tavern, and a store. Once they added a post office in 1868 the word “corner” was dropped from the name. Now it mainly consists of commercial buildings and businesses, with a few residential houses in the village.
