Sandra graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2001, where she majored in the Sociology of Deviance and Law. Sandra then went on to attend Temple University Beasley School of Law, where she was a member of Temple Law Review. She graduated at the top of her class with honors in 2004, and thereafter worked as an attorney at a large, highly regarded Philadelphia law firm.
Sandra then switched gears to raise her three sons, and after several years, life circumstances brought her back to the law, and in particular, divorce law and mediation. After experiencing a lengthy, stressful, and expensive divorce, Sandra knew there had to be a better, more peaceful, and effective way to dissolve a marriage. This sparked an interest and passion in the field of divorce mediation. She hopes to help divorcing couples avoid litigation and the pitfalls of the court system at the hands of aggressive divorce attorneys. Sandra became certified in mediation in Pennsylvania, learning from top mediation experts in the field. She now brings that knowledge, both from mediation training and her own divorce experience, to the Alpha Center. Her passion for assisting others reach a peaceful and structured dissolution of marriage shines brightly.
Sandra lives in Montgomery County with her three sons. In her spare time, she is an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Sixers fan, rarely missing a game, whether in person or on tv. She also enjoys playing tennis, frequenting her sons’ sporting events and running on the beach when time allows.
*Sandra was formerly admitted to the PA bar and practiced law for many years before requesting an inactive status while she raised her family. She currently awaiting review of her pending petition for reinstatement.
